Today, the Ermenrich brand portfolio contains more than 150 models of measuring tools. Our short-term plan is to launch the production of power tools and accessories on a universal battery platform.

Brand History

Ulrich Hessmer, company founder

The brand was founded by Ulrich Hessmer, a German engineer who worked for many years for a well-known construction tool company.

His vast experience in the construction industry allowed him to create a product of excellent quality.

Herr Hessmer is passionate about the history of Ancient Rome. He was always particularly interested in the Ostrogothic king Ermanaric (Hermanaricus).

King Ermanaric is famous for having created the most powerful kingdom in what is now Central Europe in the fourth century AD. The king’s name was an inspiration for Herr Hessmer's choice of company name.

In 2020, Herr Hessmer founded Ermenrich.

Logo

The logo combines imagery that inspired Herr Hessmer as well as the qualities that best describe our company.

The image of a bull in the center
conveys strength, courage, and victory.
