The Ermenrich Zing DZ40 is a versatile measuring tool for power engineers, instrumentation and control (I&C) technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals. The heavy-duty magnetic core with a 30mm jaw opening safely accommodates thick power cables, allowing for the testing of high-load mains without interrupting production processes or breaking the circuit.

High-current measurement

The key feature of the Ermenrich Zing DZ40 is its ability to measure AC and DC currents up to 1,000A. The device is ideal for inspecting electrical panels, evaluating the power consumption of industrial machinery, welding stations, and heavy-duty electric motors. DC current measurement is indispensable for monitoring industrial UPS systems and large battery banks. The 600V voltage limit fully covers the requirements for monitoring 230/400V three-phase networks.

Temperature measurement and operating conditions

The device measures temperatures ranging from –20°C to +1,000°C using a thermocouple. This is essential for auditing drying chambers, boiler plants, industrial furnaces, and internal combustion engine (ICE) exhaust systems. The clamp meter is built for harsh environments, operating reliably at ambient temperatures from –10°C to +50°C. Frequency analysis and component testing

Despite its heavy-duty focus, the device handles electronic component diagnostics with ease.
