Ermenrich Test DM30 Digital Multimeter

The Ermenrich Test DM30 is a handy multimeter for diagnosing electrical systems and electronics at home, in the workshop, or in your car. It suits electricians, repair technicians, and home users alike, whether you are checking wiring, power supplies, and contacts, tracing open circuits, or monitoring circuit parameters. The meter works as a voltmeter, ammeter, and ohmmeter. It also offers a diode test, a 1.5V and 9V battery test, and an audible continuity check. The display backlight makes it easier to work in low light, and the data hold function is useful in hard-to-reach spots.

DC voltage is measured on the 200mV, 2V, 20V, 200V, and 600V ranges, and AC voltage on the 200V and 600V ranges. The multimeter handles routine work such as servicing power supplies, testing batteries, and diagnosing control circuits. The AC ranges cover single-phase and three-phase systems, so you can test wall outlets, distribution boards, and supply lines to machine tools and instruments. DC current is measured in ranges from 2000µA to 10A, making the meter well suited for automotive circuits and higher-power devices. The low-current ranges are useful for checking low-power sensors and circuit boards, while the higher ranges are meant for diagnosing automotive components. Polarity is detected automatically, and a minus sign appears on the display if the leads are connected in reverse.

Power comes from a 9V 6F22 battery. The display has a low battery indicator. The housing is made of ABS plastic with a protective thermoplastic elastomer layer. The device operates at temperatures from 0°C to +50°C and resists wear and impact.
