Ermenrich Test DM60 Digital Multimeter

Description

The Ermenrich Test DM60 multimeter is useful for electricians, auto electricians, repair technicians, and equipment maintenance specialists. The model combines a voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, capacitance meter, frequency meter, and thermocouple.

DC voltage is measured up to 1000V and AC voltage up to 700V, which covers both household mains and industrial circuits. DC and AC current are available on ranges from 2mA to 20A, so you can check the current draw of automotive electrical equipment and household appliances.

A wide resistance range from 200Ω to 20MΩ lets you check both the integrity of connections and whether resistors and sensors are good. In capacitance mode, the multimeter tests capacitors up to 200µF in start circuits and power supplies. Temperature is measured with a thermocouple from −20°C to +760°C. This makes the meter suitable for monitoring contact heating as well as for diagnosing furnaces and heating equipment.

The meter takes 2 readings per second, which is enough for most everyday tasks, and supports diode testing and continuity checks. The continuity check comes with an audible signal, which is handy when you are tracing an open circuit and cannot keep an eye on the display.

A bright backlight keeps the display readable in dim conditions. Power comes from a 9V 6F22 battery, good for up to 80 hours of continuous operation. Auto power off after 10 minutes of inactivity extends battery life and prevents unnecessary drain if the multimeter is left on.
