Ermenrich Test DM70 Digital Multimeter

The Ermenrich Test DM70 is designed for professionals who work with electrical systems and electronics. It suits engineers, electricians, repair technicians, and commissioning specialists. The model combines a voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, capacitance meter, frequency meter, and thermocouple, supports True RMS, and has a non-contact NCV detector with vibration and LED alerts. With this feature set, you can handle most diagnostic tasks without any extra tools.

The meter is built for a wide range of electrical measurements. It reads DC voltage on ranges from 600mV to 1000V and AC voltage on ranges from 6V to 1000V. This covers battery testing, control circuit diagnostics, and work on residential and industrial power systems, including three-phase lines and distribution panels. DC and AC current are measured on the 6A and 10A ranges, which is sufficient for checking the current draw of automotive components, heaters, and small motors. Resistance measurement is available on ranges from 600Ω to 60MΩ. The lower ranges are convenient for checking connection integrity and finding open circuits and shorts. The upper ranges are suited for measuring high-value resistors and detecting leakage.

Capacitance is measured on ranges from 40nF to 4mF, so the meter covers most capacitors that can be found in start circuits, power supplies, and household appliances. The thermocouple works from −20°C to +760°C. It lets you monitor the heating of contacts, motor windings, pipes, and heating elements. In continuity mode, the buzzer sounds when resistance drops below 100Ω. The frequency meter reads up to 10MHz and is suitable for checking switching power supplies, generators, sensors, and mains frequency.

The meter takes 2 readings per second and supports data hold and min/max recording. The 6000-count backlit display is easy to read in any lighting. With CAT III 600V and CAT II 1000V ratings, the model is cleared for work on industrial power systems and distribution panels. Power comes from a 9V 6F22 battery, good for up to 80 hours of operation. Auto power-off after 15 minutes of inactivity conserves battery life. The ABS housing with thermoplastic elastomer withstands heavy daily use.
